Editing a Role

How to edit, update, and manage roles in Zeeda

Overview

Once a role has been created in Zeeda, you can edit its details, refresh the hiring manager briefing, share the candidate interview link, or remove the role entirely — all from the Roles page.

Navigate to the Roles page at app.zeeda.com/roles. Find the role you want to manage and click the three dots (⋯) on the right-hand side to open the options menu.

The options menu will show.

Editing a Role

Select Edit Role from the three-dot menu to update the role's details.

The following fields can be edited:

• Job Title

• Job Description

• Role Type

• Salary

• Location

• Role Status

• Role Owner

Once you have made your changes, save the role. Note: editing the job title or description does not automatically regenerate the scoring framework or interview questions. To update those, you will need to re-record your hiring manager call (see below).

Re-Recording the Hiring Manager Call

If your priorities, requirements, or role details have changed since your original briefing call, you can re-record it to ensure Zee is evaluating candidates against your most current needs.

To do this, click the three dots next to the role and select Re-Record. This will start a new hiring manager call with Zee.

What happens when you re-record: Completing a new hiring manager call will regenerate the scoring framework and candidate screening questions for this role based on your updated briefing. Any candidates already interviewed will have been assessed against the previous framework.

Sharing the Interview Link

To send a candidate the interview link, click the three dots next to the role and select Invite.

This gives you the unique interview link for the role, which you can share directly with candidates. Candidates can complete their Zee interview at any time using this link.

Deleting a Role

To remove a role, click the three dots next to the role and select Delete Role.

Please note: Deleting a role is permanent. All associated interview data and candidate responses will be removed.

Quick Reference

From the three-dot menu on any role you can:

  • Edit Role — update job details and role information

  • Re-Record — redo the hiring manager call to refresh the scoring framework and questions

  • Invite — get the candidate interview link to share

  • Delete Role — permanently remove the role
