Creating a role

A step-by-step guide to setting up a new role in Zeeda

Overview

Creating a role in Zeeda takes around 10 to 15 minutes from start to finish. You'll enter your role details and then have a quick briefing call with Zee — this is what powers the personalised screening interview for your candidates.

Once set up, your interview link will be ready to share within 10 minutes.

Before you begin, you'll need:

• Job Title

• Job Description

• Salary Range

• Location

⏱ Allow around 10 minutes for the briefing call with Zee.

Step 1 Go to the Roles page

Navigate to app.zeeda.com/roles and click the + Create Role button.

Step 2 Review what you need and click Next

The screen will show a summary of what you need to have ready before starting. When you're ready, click Next: Enter Role Details.

Step 3 Enter role details

Complete the following fields:

  • Job Title

  • Job Description

  • Role Type — e.g. Full Time, Part Time

  • Salary — enter a minimum and maximum, or select Undisclosed. Set the pay period and currency.

  • Location

Once complete, click Create Role & Continue.

Step 4 Complete the briefing call with Zee

You'll be taken to a screen to start your conversation with Zee. Click Start Chat to begin. A support document on the briefing call can be found here:

Zee will guide you through a conversation about the role — covering the team, must-have skills, what success looks like, and deal-breakers. This briefing is what Zee uses to build the personalised screening interview for your candidates.

Important: The briefing call must be completed in full to create the role. Once finished, you can close the chat screen.

Step 5 Your role is live

Once the briefing call is complete, Zeeda will set up your role in the background. The candidate interview link will be ready to use within 10 minutes.

You can find the interview link at any time from the Roles page by clicking the three dots next to the role and selecting Invite.

What to Do Next

We recommend testing the interview yourself before sharing it with candidates. This gives you a feel for how Zee conducts the conversation and what candidates will experience.

You can also view the interview script from the Roles page highlighting key assessment questions which will be asked within the interview. Click into the role to see the candidate assessment questions Zee will be asking — this is the role-specific part of the interview generated from your briefing call.
